Dr. Coleen Moloney (South Africa) is Director of the Marine Research Institute and Associate Professor in the Department of Biological Sciences at the University of Cape Town. Her research interests are in modelling marine ecosystems and food webs under global change, with a focus on the Benguela upwelling ecosystem. Over the past two decades she has contributed to the JGOFS, GLOBEC and IMBER projects in various capacities and was a member of the coastal observations panel of GOOS.
